Socialization and Inauguration of Desa Cantik 2024

In an effort to improve data management quality and provide sectoral statistical guidance at the village level, the Statistics Indonesia team of Berau Regency held the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Inauguration event in Labanan Jaya Village, Teluk Bayur District. This event took place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Labanan Jaya Village Pavilion.

The inauguration of Desa Cantik was attended by the Government Affairs Expert Staff (Drs. Warji), the Head of Teluk Bayur District (Edi Baskoro, S.STP), the Head of Labanan Jaya Village (Rohmat Kholis), representatives from the Regional Development Planning and Research Agency (Bapelitbang), Communication and Information Office (Kominfo), Community and Village Empowerment Office (PMK), along with the Teluk Bayur Military Commander (Danramil), Teluk Bayur Police Chief (Kapolsek), neighboring village heads, community leaders, and neighborhood heads (RT) in Labanan Jaya Village.

The event also featured the "Launch" of the DATA KANAYA (Kampung Labanan Jaya) Application. This application is expected to provide a platform for village officials to update data in their area, especially regarding population data.

It is hoped that statistical management at the village level will continue to improve in quality, enabling more targeted policy-making in the future.
