The
number of workforce in Kalimantan Timur in August 2007 reached
1,241,421 people, a decrease of 83,457 people compared to the number of
the workforce in August 2006 of 1,324,878 people or a decrease of 20,356
compared to February 2007 of 1,261,777 million people.
The
number of people working in Kalimantan Timur in August 2007 reached
1,091,625 people, a decrease of 55,256 people compared to the situation
in August 2006 of 1,146,881 people, or a decrease of 8,227 people
compared to the situation in February 2007 of 1,099,852 people.The
number of unemployed people in August 2007 decreased by 28,201 people
compared to the situation in August 2006, from 177,997 people in August
2006 to 149,796 people in August 2007, and decreased by 12,129 people
when compared to the situation in February 2007 of 161,925 people.The
open unemployment rate (TPT) in Kalimantan Timur in August 2007 reached
12.07 percent, a decrease compared to the situation in August 2006
(13.43 percent), as well as the situation in February 2007 (12.83
percent).
