Abstract

The number of unemployed people in Kalimantan Timur in February 2009 was 165,087 or an increase of 22,581 compared to February 2008 which was 142,506, and an increase in 7,711 people compared to August 2008 was 157,376 people.
The open unemployment rate (TPT) in Kalimantan Timur in February 2009 was 11.09 percent, a decrease compared to February 2008 which was 11.41 percent, the same thing was a decrease compared to Aguatus 2008 which was 11.11 percent.
