Abstract

The value of Kalimantan Timur exports in February 2011 reached US $ 2.34 billion or decreased by 4.79 percent compared with the value of exports in January 2011.
The value of oil and gas exports in February 2011 reached US $ 0.99 billion, down 8.68 percent compared to the value of oil and gas exports in January 2011, while the value of non oil and gas exports in February 2011 reached US $ 1.35 billion, down by 1.71 percent compared to the value of Non-Oil and Gas exports in January 2011.
According to the Goods Group (HS 2 Digits), mineral fuels still play a very large role in the formation of East Kalimantan exports in January-February 2011 reaching 94.81 percent or US $ 4.55 billion.
According to destination countries, exports to Japan in January-February 2011 reached the largest figure of US $ 1.67 billion, followed by the Republic of Korea US $ 0.71 billion and China US $ 0.52 billion with the contribution of the three reaching 60.47 percent.
