Abstract

Based on the results of monitoring by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in July 2011, Kalimantan Timur in July 2011 experienced inflation of 0.96 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 135.72 in June 2011 to 137.02 in in July 2011. With this inflation rate, inflation in calendar year 2011 (January-July 2011) Kalimantan Timur reached 5.00 percent and year on year inflation (July 2011 against July 2010) reached 7.33 percent.
