Abstract

East Kalimantan's economy as measured by the size of the GRDP at current prices in the second quarter of 2011 was Rp. 95.2 trillion, whereas if measured by GRDP based on a constant 2000 price of Rp. 28.1 trillion.

East Kalimantan's economy in the second quarter of 2011 compared to the first quarter of 2011 (q-to-q) grew by a positive 0.89 percent, higher than the previous quarter which contracted by minus 0.27 percent. While growth in the second quarter of 2011 compared to the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) grew by a positive 1.84 percent, not as fast as the growth in the second quarter of 2010 which was a positive magnitude of 7.04 percent.
