Abstract

The growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (y-on-y) in the third quarter of 2011 increased by 0.03 percent. This shows that in the same quarter the economy of Kalimantan Timur Province in 2011 experienced an increase from 2010.
The growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (q-to-q) in the third quarter of 2011 decreased by 1.29 percent from the second quarter of 2011, while the growth in the second quarter of 2011 rose by 3.87 percent from the first quarter of 2011. This shows that industrial production in the third quarter of 2011 decreased, which means there was a decrease in absorption of industrial products during the third quarter of 2011.
