Abstract

The number of labor force in Kalimantan Timur in February 2012 reached 1,832,179 people, an increase of 67,483 compared to the August 2011 workforce of 1,764,696 people or an increase of 119,283 compared to February 2011 of 1,712,896 people.

The number of people working in Kalimantan Timur in February 2012 reached 1,662,041 people, an increase of 71,038 people compared to the situation in August 2011 of 1,591,003 people or an increase of 123,952 people compared to the conditions in February 2011 of 1,538,089 people.

The open unemployment rate (TPT) in Kalimantan Timur in February 2012 reached 9.29 percent, a decrease compared to the August 2011 TPT of 9.84 percent and a decrease compared to the February 2011 TPT of 10.21 percent.
