Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in July 201 2 experienced inflation of 1.06 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 142.27 in June 2012 to 143.78 in July 2012. So that up to July 2012 inflation was calendar year 2012 reached 3.60 percent, while Kalimantan Timur year on year inflation reached 4.93 percent.

When broken down by city, in July 2012 all three cities experienced inflation, Tarakan City by 1.48 percent, Samarinda City by 0.58 percent, and Balikpapan City experienced inflation by 1.48 percent. So that the calendar year inflation of Tarakan City was 3.74 percent, Samarinda City reached 2.83 percent, and Balikpapan City was 4.48 percent, and year on year inflation of each city was 7.43 percent; 4.58 percent; and 4.48 percent.
