INFLATION OF KALIMANTAN TIMUR IN AUGUST MONTH 2012

Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in August 2012 experienced an inflation of 1.99 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 143.78 in July 2012 to 146.63 in August 2012. So that until August 2012 inflation in calendar year 2012 reached 5.6 6 percent, while Kalimantan Timur year on year inflation reached 6.15 percent.

When broken down by city, in August 2012 all three cities experienced inflation, Tarakan City was 1.39 percent, Samarinda City was 2.29 percent, and Balikpapan City experienced inflation of 1.84 percent. So that the calendar year inflation of Tarakan City was 5.18 percent, Samarinda City reached 5.18 percent, and Balikpapan City 6.41 percent, and year-on-year inflation for each city was 8.43 percent; 5.51 percent; and 6.13 percent.
