Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the amount of GRDP at current prices in Quarter I / 2013 reached Rp 105.3 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp 70.2 trillion (without oil and gas). While the GRDP at constant 2000 prices reaches Rp. 30.0 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp. 21.7 trillion (without oil and gas).

The economy of Kalimantan Timur in Quarter I / 2013 compared to Quarter IV / 2012 (q-to-q) experienced a contraction of minus 0.91 percent, lower than the previous quarter which reached positive 1.78 percent. While growth in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) reached a positive 0.22 percent, but not as fast as the growth of the first quarter of 201 2 which was positive at 6.07 percent.
