Growth of Manufacturing Industry in Kalimantan Timur Province Quarter II 2013

Abstract

The Development of Large and Medium Industries in Kalimantan Timur in the second quarter of 2013 showed production growth of 5.50 percent (y-on-y) and 2.22 percent (q-to-q).

Micro and Small Industrial production growth in the second quarter was 13.19 percent (y-on-y) and 4.37 percent (q to q).

In general, manufacturing industry sector activity in the second quarter of 2013 showed an increase in production when compared to the growth in the previous quarter (q-to-q), as well as the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) although there was a slight slowing of growth in the Medium Large Industry group.

Meanwhile in the Micro and Small Industry groups the development of Industrial activities in the second quarter was relatively better in the y-on-y and q-to-q periods.
