Abstract

The export value of East Kalimantan in June 2013 reached US$ 2.46 billion, experiencing a decline of 12.77 percent compared to the export value in May 2013. The value of oil and gas exports in June 2013 reached US$ 1.02 billion, down 9.50 percent compared to the oil and gas export value in May 2013, while the value of non-oil and gas exports in June 2013 reached US$ 1.45 billion, a decrease of 14.93 percent compared to the non-oil and gas export value in May 2013.
By commodity category (HS 2-Digit), mineral fuels played a significant role in the formation of East Kalimantan's exports during the period of January-June 2013, reaching 92.30 percent or US$ 14.66 billion.
By destination country, exports to Japan in the period of January-June 2013 reached the highest value of US$ 4.56 billion, followed by China at US$ 2.49 billion and South Korea at US$ 1.97 billion, with the combined contribution of these three countries reaching 56.81 percent.
