Abstract

  • Kalimantan Timur subsector's NTP in January 2014 included the Exchange Rate of Food Crop Farmers (NTPP) recorded at 96.11; Exchange Rate of Horticultural Farmers (NTPH) 96.14; Exchange Rate of Farmer Farmers (NTPR) 98.71, Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) 103.30 and Fisherman Farmer Exchange Rate (NTN) 101.77. In combination, the Farmer Exchange Rate of East Kalimantan Province was 98.73, or an increase of 0.20 percent when compared to the FTT in December 2013 which was recorded at 98.54.
  • Kalimantan Timur Province in January inflation occurred in rural areas by 0.83 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the household consumption index namely in the foodstuffs group (1.04%), processed foods (1.03%), housing (1.05%), clothing (0.21%), health (-0, 59%), education, recreation & sports (0.10%) and transportation & communication (0.49%).
  • In January 2014 out of the 32 provinces reported, there were 21 provinces where NTP calculations had increased and 11 provinces had decreased. The highest increase in NTP in January 2014 occurred in Sumatra Barat Province, which amounted to 0.98 percent, while the lowest increase occurred in Sulawesi Selatan Province which amounted to 0.03 percent.
