Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate of East Kalimantan Province amounted to 100.30, or an increase of 0.59 percent when compared to the March 2014 FTT which was recorded at 99.71. For NTP per sub-sector of East Kalimantan in April 2014 including the Exchange Rate of Food Crop Farmers (NTPP) was recorded at 98.42; Horticultural Farmer Exchange Rates (NTPH) 97.15; Exchange Rate of Smallholder Plantation Farmers (NTPR) 101.57; Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) 103.66 and Fisherman Farmer Exchange Rate (NTN) 101.62.

The province of East Kalimantan in April experienced inflation in rural areas by 0.38 percent. Inflation occurred due to an increase in the household consumption index namely in the foodstuffs group 0.62 percent, processed food 0.39 percent, housing 0.13 percent, clothing 0.26 percent, health 0.01 percent, transportation & communication 0.05 percent , but in the education, recreation & sports group there was a decrease of (0.12%).
