Abstract

The value of Kalimantan Timur exports in May 2014 reached US $ 2.20 billion, an increase of 0.68 percent compared to April 2014 exports. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2013 it decreased by 21.93 percent. May 2014 oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.82 billion, down 12.20 percent compared to April 2014, while non-oil and gas exports in May 2014 reached US $ 1.38 billion, up 10.29 percent compared to April 2014.

Cumulatively, the value of Kalimantan Timur exports in January-May 2014 reached US $ 11.09 billion or decreased by 17.33 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as well as oil and gas exports reached US $ 4.54 billion or decreased by 16.54 percent and non-oil and gas reached US $ 6.55 billion, down 17.86 percent.

The value of Kalimantan Timur imports in May 2014 reached US $ 0.89 billion, an increase of 22.30 percent compared to April 2014 imports. Meanwhile, compared to May 2013 it decreased by 13.87 percent.

May 2014 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.80 billion, up 39.62 percent compared to April 2014, while non-oil and gas imports in May 2014 reached US $ 89.21 million, down 42.25 percent compared to April 2014.

Cumulatively, the value of Kalimantan Timur imports in January-May 2014 reached US $ 3.81 billion, down 13.19 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as well as oil and gas imports reaching US $ 3.18 billion or decreased 4.26 percent and non-oil and gas reached US $ 0.63 billion or
