Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in August 2014 experienced inflation of 0.29 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 115.41 in July 2014 to 115.75 in August 2014. So that until August 2014 Inflation in the calendar year was 3 , 40 percent and year on year inflation 3.71 percent.
When broken down by city, in August 2014, Samarinda City experienced a deflation of -0.01 percent, Balikpapan City experienced an inflation of 0.59 percent and the City of Tarakan experienced an inflation of 0.56 percent. As of August 2014, Samarinda City calendar year inflation was 2.28 percent, Balikpapan City was 3.90 percent and Tarakan City was 6.21 percent. Year on year inflation in Samarinda City reached 2.68 percent, Balikpapan City was 4.25 percent and Tarakan City 6.05 percent.
