Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in August 2015 experienced deflation of -0.06 percent, or a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 124.83 in July 2015 to 124.76 in August 2015. Up to August 2015 Calendar year inflation 3.51 percent, while year on year inflation was 7.78 percent.
If detailed by city, in August 2015, Samarinda City experienced Inflation of 0.11 percent, Balikpapan City experienced Deflation -0.23 percent and Tarakan City experienced deflation -0.15 percent. Up to August 2015 Inflation year calendar of Samarinda City is 2.51 percent, Balikpapan City 5.25 percent and Tarakan City 2.33 percent. The Inflation Rate year on year in August 2015 of Samarinda is 6.98 percent, Balikpapan 8.82 percent and Kota Tarakan 7.82 percent.
