The Farmer Terms of Trade of Kalimantan Timur Province* Based on Subsectors in January 2017

The Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2017 stood at 98.40 decreased compared to the value of NTP in December 2016 was recorded at 98.56 or quantitatively decreased by -0.17 percent. For NTP by subsector in Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2017 include The Farmer Terms of Trade of Plant Food (NTPP) stood at 98.37; The Farmer Terms of Trade of Horticulture (NTPH) 92.60; The Farmer Terms of Trade of Crop Plantations (NTPR) 98.73; The Farmer Terms of Trade of Ranch (NTPT) 103.01 and The Farmer Terms of Trade of Fisheries (NTPN) 100.62.

Generally NTP decreased by -0.17 percent, it is influenced by the index of prices received by farmers (It) which increased by 0.67 percent while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.84 percent.

The development of NTP by subsector in January 2017 that a decline in the three sub-sectors namely NTPP subsector amounted to -0.14 percent, NTPT subsector amounted to -0.72 percent and -0.30 percent for NTPN. While other sub-sectors, namely NTPR increased 0.12 percent and subsectors NTPH unchanged tend to be equal in value to the previous month.
