Abstract

Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2017 experienced an inflation of 0.13 percent, or a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 131.51 in March 2017 to 131.69 in April 2017. Up to April 2017 Inflation calendar year 1.28 percent, meanwhile Inflation year on year amounted to 4.38 percent.
If detailed by municipality, in April 2017, Samarinda Municipality experienced 0.29 percent Inflation with CPI of 131.06. While Balikpapan Municipality experienced Deflation -0.08 percent with CPI 132.51. Up to April 2017 Inflation in the calendar year of Samarinda is 1.73 percent, while Balikpapan is 0.71 percent. The year-on-year Inflation in Samarinda was 3.88 percent and Balikpapan was 5.03 percent.
