Large and Medium Industries Production Growth in East Kalimantan Province rose by 15.85% (y-on-y), Micro and Small Industries Production Growth rose by 4.11% (y-on-y)

Abstract

The development of Large and Medium Processing Industry activities in Quarter II / 2019 in the annual period (y-on-y) and in the quarterly period (q-to-q) shows positive growth
Large and Medium Processing Industry Production in Quarter II / 2019 increased by 15.85 percent (y-on-y): Chemicals and Goods from Chemicals, up 33.41 percent; Other Transportation Equipment Industry, up 2.21 percent; Food Industry, down 2.95 percent; The Timber Industry, Wood and Cork Goods (excluding furniture) and Woven Goods from Bamboo, Rattan and the like, dropped by 24.68 percent
Large and Medium Processing Industry Production in Quarter II / 2019 increased by 4.02 percent (q-to-q): Chemical and Chemical Materials Industry, up 19.25 percent; Other Transportation Equipment Industry, up 1.03 percent; Food Industry, down 15.10 percent; The Timber Industry, Wood and Cork Goods (excluding furniture) and Woven Goods from Bamboo, Rattan and the like, dropped by 25.11 percent
The development of micro and small processing industries in the second quarter of 2019 in the annual period (y-on-y) and in the quarterly period (q-to-q) showed positive growth.
Production of Micro and Small Processing Industries in the annual period II / 2019 (y-on-y) increased by 4.11 percent, with the highest growth rate in KBLI 16 (wood industry; wood and cork goods; and woven bamboo, rattan and the like) of 31.21 percent; while the lowest growth rate in KBLI 30 (other transportation equipment industry) was -33.12 percent.
Quarterly (q-to-q) production growth increased by 0.79 percent, with the highest growth rate in KBLI 14 (apparel industry) by 10.74 percent; while the lowest growth rate in KBLI 18 (printing and recording media reproduction industry) was -24.66 percent.
