Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 reached 46.77 percent, this figure decreased by 0.66 points compared to the TPK in April 2021.
The total average length of stay of guests at five-star hotels in May 2021 reached 1.58 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.46 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.57 days.
During May 2021, foreign tourist visits reached 16 visits or decreased by 5 visits compared to April 2021.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Timur in the period January 2021 - May 2021 reached 91 visits.
The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in May 2021 was 102,078 thousand people, a decrease of 26.93 percent compared to April 2021. The number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations departed in May 2021 showed zero.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed in May 2021 was recorded at 20,164 thousand people, an increase of 4.17 percent compared to April 2021.
