Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star-class hotels in Kalimantan Timur in March 2023 was recorded at 57.44 percent, down 3.27 points compared to the previous month. When compared to the conditions of the TPK in March 2022, the TPK in March 2023 has decreased by 6.38 points.
  • The average length of stay for star-class hotel guests in March 2023 was 1.78 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.48 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.77 days.
  • During March 2023 there were 347 visits by foreign tourists to Kalimantan Timur. When compared to the previous month, the number of foreign tourist visits in March 2023 increased by 767.50 percent.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in March 2023 was 198,080 people, an increase of 4.37 percent compared to February 2023. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 2,299 people, an increase of 14.44 percent compared to the previous month.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in March 2023 was recorded at 25,314 people, an increase of 20.76 percent compared to February 2023.
