Abstract

  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in October 2023 was 225,512 people or an increase of 8.45 percent compared to September 2023. On the other hand, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 3,397 people or a decrease of 8.29 percent compared to the previous month.
  • During January-October 2023, the number of domestic air passengers was 2,154,736 people or an increase of 27.66 percent compared to the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, the number of international passengers was 34,714 people or a significant increase of 1,122.75 percent.
  • The number of domestic sea transportation passengers departing in October 2023 was recorded at 35,565 people or an increase of 2.56 percent compared to September 2023. During the January-October 2023 period, the number of passengers reached 395,924 people or an increase of 12.30 percent compared to the same period in in 2022.
  • The number of goods transported in October 2023 increased 18.13 percent compared to September 2023 to 7,093.49 thousand tons. During the January-October 2023 period, the amount of goods transported reached 64,305.15 thousand tons, an increase of 1.09 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
