“Berau Regency in Figures” in 2017 is a series of from previous publication which is periodically published by BPS-Statistics Berau Regency. This publication intended to provide complete and accurate picture about development and the activity of statistics in this region. In the preparation of this book, both primary and secondary data were collected from public and private institutions. For the completion of its content and of data validity following the development and governmental dynamism and development of statistical data and annually figures always renewed. Although some efforts for the completion already been made, however maybe it not yet meet the need of data users. Therefore, any constructive critism and suggestion for the improvement of the publication very needed. Our gratitude goes to all parties and all the offices/institutions/ government and private institutions that have helped provide data in preparation of this book. I hope our cooperation can keep being endlessly increased. Finally, we hope this book will be greatly beneficial for the readers in preparation and implementation development.
