Abstract

The number of unemployed people in August 2008 experienced an increase of 7,580 people compared to the situation in August 2007 with 149,796 people and in August 2008 there were 157,376 people in August 2008, and an increase of 14,870 people when compared to the situation in February 2008 there were 142,506 people
The open unemployment rate (TPT) in Kalimantan Timur in August 2008 reached 11.11 percent, a decrease compared to the situation in August 2007 (12.07 percent), as well as the situation in February 2008 (11.41 percent).
