Production Growth in the Manufacturing Industry of Kalimantan Timur Province II Quarter 2011

Abstract

The growth of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (y-on-y) in the second quarter of 2011 increased by 8.10 percent. This shows that in the same quarter the economy of Kalimantan Timur Province in 2011 experienced an increase from 2010.

The growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (q-to-q) quarter II / 2011 increased by 3.84 percent from quarter I / 2011, while growth in quarter I / 2011 decreased growth (minus) by 3.09 percent from quarter IV / 2010. This shows that industrial production in the second quarter of 2011 experienced an increase, which means there was an increase in absorption of industrial products during the second quarter of 2011.
