Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in November 2013 experienced a deflation of -0.25 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 159.97 in October 2013 to 159.57 in November 2013. So until November 2013 Inflation in the calendar year Kalimantan Timur reached 8.88 percent, while inflation was 9.68 percent year on year.

In detail according to the city, in November 2013, Samarinda City experienced an inflation of 0.11 percent, the City of Balikpapan experienced a deflation of -0.34 percent and the City of Tarakan Deflation -1.18 percent. Until November 2013, the calendar year inflation of Samarinda City reached 10.10 percent, Balikpapan City 7.16 percent and Tarakan City 9.66 percent. While year-on-year inflation in Samarinda City was 10.56 percent, Balikpapan City was 8.18 percent, and Tarakan City was 10.92 percent.
