Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in October 2012 experienced inflation of 0.10 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 145.34 in October 2012 to 145.49 in November 2012. So that until November 2012 inflation in the Kalimantan Timur calendar year reached 4.83 percent, while inflation year on year reached 5.44 percent.

When broken down by city, in November 2012 two cities experienced deflation, namely Tarakan City -0.26 percent and Balikpapan City -0.08 percent. While the city of Samarinda experienced inflation of 0, 37 percent. So that as of November, Samarinda City calendar year inflation reached 4.37 percent, Balikpapan City 5.40 percent and Tarakan City 4.79 percent, while year-on-year inflation for each city was 4.97 percent; 5.67 percent; and 6.39 percent.
