Abstract

The value of Kalimantan Timur exports in July 2014 reached US $ 2.28 billion or decreased by 2.56 percent compared to exports in June 2014. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2013 it decreased by 7.86 percent.
July 2014 oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.03 billion, down 8.05 percent compared to June 2014, while non-oil and gas exports in July 2014 reached US $ 1.25 billion, up 2.46 percent compared to June 2014.
Cumulatively, the value of Kalimantan Timur exports from January to July 2014 reached US $ 15.65 billion, down 14.75 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as well as oil and gas exports reaching US $ 6.69 billion or decreased 10.08 percent and non-oil and gas reached US $ 8.96 billion, down 17.93 percent.
The value of Kalimantan Timur imports in July 2014 reached US $ 0.75 billion, an increase of 18.18 percent compared to imports in June 2014. Meanwhile, when compared to July 2013 it decreased by 2.45 percent.
July 2014 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.63 billion, up 36.87 percent compared to June 2014, while non-oil and gas imports in July 2014 reached US $ 0.12 billion, down 30.03 percent compared to June 2014.
Cumulatively, the value of Timur Kalimantan imports from January to July 2014 reached US $ 5.20 billion, down 11.32 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as well as oil and gas imports reaching US $ 4.27 billion or decreased 3.34 percent and non-oil and gas reached US $ 0.93 billion, down 35.62 percent.
Kalimantan Timur trade balance in July 2014 was a surplus of US $ 1.53 billion, smaller than the June 2014 surplus of US $ 1.71 billion, thus cumulative
