Abstract

Export value of Kalimantan Timur December 2014 reached US $ 2.11 billion or an increase of 14.85 percent compared to November 2014 exports. Meanwhile, compared to December 2013 decreased by 2.10 percent.
Oil and gas exports in December 2014 reached US $ 0.87 billion, up 33.94 percent from November 2014, while non-oil and gas exports in December 2014 reached US $ 1.24 billion, up 4.38 percent compared to November 2014.
The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur from January to December 2014 reached US $ 25.72 billion or decreased 17.03 percent compared to the same period in 2013. Similarly, oil and gas exports reached US $ 10.87 billion or decreased 15.39 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 14.86 billion or decreased 18.20 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Timur in December 2014 reached US $ 0.59 billion or decreased by 0.05 percent compared to November 2014 import. Meanwhile, compared to December 2013, it decreased by 18.74 percent.
Oil and gas imports in December 2014 reached US $ 0.49 billion, up 4.06 percent compared to November 2014, while non-oil and gas imports in December 2014 reached US $ 0.09 billion, down 17.52 percent compared to November 2014.
The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to December 2014 reached US $ 8.47 billion or decreased 10.94 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as well as oil and gas imports reached US $ 6.91 billion or decreased 4.34 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 1.56 billion or decreased by 31.80 percent.
The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in December 2014 was a surplus of US $ 1.52 billion, higher than the November 2011 surplus of US $ 1.25 billion, thus the cumulative January-December 2014 surplus of US $ 17.25 billion.
