Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in January 2015 reached US $ 3.63 billion or an increase of 72.21 percent compared to December 2014. Meanwhile, compared to January 2014, it increased by 67.95 percent.
Oil and gas exports in January 2015 reached US $ 0.72 billion, down 16.86 percent compared to December 2014, while non-oil and gas exports in January 2015 reached US $ 2.91 billion, up 134.88 percent compared to December 2014.
The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur from January to December 2014 reached US $ 25.72 billion or decreased 17.03 percent compared to the same period in 2013. Of all exports in 2014, oil and gas exports reached US $ 10.87 billion or decreased 15.39 percent and non-oil / gas reached US $ 14.86 billion or decreased 18.20 percent.

B. IMPORT

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in January 2015 reached US $ 0.42 billion or decreased by 27.66 percent compared to December 2014. Meanwhile, compared to January 2014, it decreased 19.24 percent.
Oil and gas imports in January 2015 reached US $ 0.33 billion, down 32.29 percent compared to December 2014, while non-oil and gas imports in January 2015 reached US $ 0.09 billion down 2.89 percent compared to December 2014.
The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to December 2014 reached US $ 8.47 billion or decreased 10.94 percent compared to the same period in 2013. Of all imports in 2014, oil and gas imports reached US $ 6.91 billion or decreased 4.34 percent and non-oil / gas reached US $ 1.56 billion or decreased 31.80 percent.
Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in January 2015 was a surplus of US $ 3.21 billion, higher than the December 2014 surplus of US $ 1.52 billion, thus the cumulative January-December 2014 surplus of US $ 17.25 billion.
