Abstract

The economy of East Kalimantan in Quarter III-2015 measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 138.2 trillion and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 119.2 trillion.
The economic performance of Kalimantan Timur in the third Quarter of 2015 as measured by GDP growth in Q3 / 2015 compared to Q2 / 2015 was corrected by -1.47 percent (q-to-q). When compared to the same quarter of 2014 also corrected, which amounted to -3.49 percent (y-on-y). Cumulatively, East Kalimantan's economic growth from the first quarter to the third quarter of 2015 compared to the same period in 2014 contracted by -1.65 percent (c-to-c).
In terms of production, the economic growth in quarter III-2015 on y-on-y was influenced by the decline in the performance of the Mining Business Field and Quarrying Correction by -9.61 percent and the Processing Industry which also corrected by -1.16 percent, which affected the decline Services Company amounted to -4.81 percent. In terms of expenditure is influenced by the component of Foreign Exports which experienced a significant correction of -13.56 percent
