Abstract

Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2016 experienced an inflation of 0.09 percent, or a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 126.16 in April 2016 to 126.27 in May 2016. Up to May 2016 Calendar year inflation of 0.41 percent, while Inflation year on year was 4.25 percent.
If detailed by city, in May 2016, Samarinda City experienced 0.05 percent Inflation with CPI 126.22. While Balikpapan City experienced 0.13 percent Inflation with CPI 126.33. Until May 2016 Inflation year calendar of Samarinda City by 0,74 percent, while Kota Balikpapan still Deflation -0,02 percent. Meanwhile Inflation year on year in May 2016 for Samarinda City was 4.43 percent and Balikpapan City was 4.02 percent.
