Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in April 2016 reached US $ 1.04 billion or decreased by 8.62 percent compared to exports in March 2016. Meanwhile, if compared to April 2015 decreased by 32.49 percent.
April 2016 oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.29 billion, down 20.25 percent compared to March 2016, while non-oil and gas exports in April 2016 reached US $ 0.75 billion, down 3.23 percent compared to March 2016.
The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur in JanuaryApril 2016 reached US $ 4.37 billion or decreased 32.45 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all exports from January to April 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.35 billion or decreased 45.04 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 3.02 billion or decreased by 24.74 percent.

B. IMPORT

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in April 2016 reached US $ 0.36 billion or an increase of 8.72 percent compared to import in March 2016. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2015 decreased by 14.05 percent.
April 2016 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.22 billion, down 16.46 percent compared to March 2016, while non-oil imports in April 2016 reached US $ 0.14 billion, up 106.51 percent compared to March 2016.
The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to April 2016 reached US $ 1.18 billion or decreased 33.81 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all imports from January to April 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.80 billion or decreased 41.28 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.37 billion or decreased 8.82 percent.
Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in April 2016 was a surplus of US $ 0.68 billion, less than the March 2010 surplus of US $ 0.80 billion, thus the January-April 2016 cumulative surplus of US $ 3.19 billion.
