Exports and Imports of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2016

Export value of Kalimantan Timur September 2016 reached US $ 1.11 billion or an increase of 0.46 percent compared to August 2016 exports. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2015 decreased by 8.91 percent.

Exports of oil and gas in September 2016 reached US $ 0.29 billion, up 3.39 percent compared to August 2016, while non-oil exports in September 2016 reached US $ 0.82 billion, down 0.54 percent compared to August 2016.

The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur in January - September 2016 reached US $ 9.85 billion or decreased 26.71 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all exports in the period of JanuarySeptember 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 2.84 billion or decreased 42, 81 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 7.01 billion or decreased 17.28 percent.

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in September 2016 reached US $ 0.26 billion or decreased by 45.04 percent compared to import in August 2016. Meanwhile, compared to September 2015, it decreased by 51.59 percent.

September 2016 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.21 billion, down 41.99 percent compared to August 2016, while non-oil imports in September 2016 reached US $ 0.05 billion, down 54.32 percent compared to August 2016.

The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to September 2016 reached US $ 2.77 billion or decreased 34.31 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all imports in the period of JanuarySeptember 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 2.00 billion or decreased by 37, 96 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.76 billion or decreased 22.26 percent.

Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in September 2016 was a surplus of US $ 0.84 billion, higher than the August 2010 surplus of US $ 0.62 billion, thus the cumulative January-September 2016 surplus of US $ 7.08 billion.
