Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in October 2016 reached US $ 1.25 billion or an increase of 12.39 percent compared to September 2016. Meanwhile, compared to October 2015, it decreased by 10.34 percent.
Oil and gas exports in October 2016 reached US $ 0.33 billion, up 13.83 percent compared to September 2016, while non-oil and gas exports in October 2016 reached US $ 0.93 billion, up 11.89 percent compared to September 2016.
The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur from January to October 2016 reached US $ 11.11 billion or decreased 25.11 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all exports from January to October 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 3.17 billion or decreased 42.04 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 7.94 billion or decreased 15.23 percent.

B. IMPORT

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in October 2016 reached US $ 0.23 billion or decreased 13.68 percent compared to September 2016 import. Meanwhile, compared to October 2015, it decreased by 43.32 percent.
The October 2016 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.18 billion, down 14.59 percent compared to September 2016, while non-oil and gas imports in October 2016 reached US $ 0.05 billion, down 10.19 percent compared to September 2016.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur from January to October 2016 reached US $ 2.99 billion or decreased 40.30 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all imports from January to October 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 2.18 billion or decreased 42.36 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.81 billion or decreased 33.94 percent.
The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in October 2016 was a surplus of US $ 1.03 billion, higher than the September 2010 surplus of US $ 0.85 billion, thus the January-October 2016 cumulative surplus of US $ 8.11 billion.
