Exports and Imports of Kalimantan Timur Province in November 2016

A. EXPORT

• The export value of Kalimantan Timur in November 2016 reached US $ 1.36 billion or an increase of 8.17 percent compared to October 2016. Meanwhile, compared to November 2015, it increased by 1.94 percent.
• Oil and gas exports in November 2016 reached US $ 0.31 billion, down 4.98 percent compared to October 2016, while non-oil / gas exports in November 2016 reached US $ 1.04 billion, up 12.84 percent compared to October 2016.
• Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur in January-November 2016 reached US $ 12.47 billion or decreased by 22.91 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all exports from January to November 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 3.48 billion or decreased 41.58 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 8.99 billion or decreased 12.02 percent.

 

B. IMPORT

• The import value of Kalimantan Timur in November 2016 reached US $ 0.40 billion or increased by 75.82 percent compared to October 2016 import. Meanwhile, compared to November 2015, it increased by 15.59 percent.
• The November 2016 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.21 billion, up 19.82 percent compared to October 2016, while non-oil and gas imports in November 2016 reached US $ 0.19 billion, up 278.93 percent compared to October 2016.
• The cumulative import value of Kalimantan Timur from January to November 2016 reached US $ 3.40 billion or decreased 36.67 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Of all imports from January to November 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 2.40 billion or decreased 40.72 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 1.00 billion or decreased by 24.19 percent.
• The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in November 2016 was a surplus of US $ 0.955 billion, less than the October 2016 surplus of US $ 1.03 billion, thus the January-November 2016 cumulative surplus of US $ 9.07 billion.
