October 2019, Exports Reach US $ 1.36 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 157.80 Million

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2019 reached US $ 1.36 billion, an increase of 7.68 percent compared to exports in September 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to October 2018 it decreased by 20.41 percent.
The value of oil and gas exports in October 2019 reached US $ 0.16 billion, up 13.29 percent compared to September 2019. While the export of non-oil goods in October 2019 reached US $ 1.20 billion, up 6.96 percent compared to September 2019.
Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - October 2019 reached US $ 13.56 billion, down 11.00 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
Of all exports from January to October 2019, exports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 1.66 billion, down 38.95 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 11.90 billion, down 4.91 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
The value of imports in Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2019 reached US $ 157.80 million, an increase of 2.63 percent compared with imports in September 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to October 2018 it decreased by 68.24 percent.
Imports of oil and gas goods in October 2019 reached US $ 83.18 million, up 5.53 percent compared to September 2019. While imports of non-oil and gas goods in October 2019 reached US $ 74.62 million, down by 0.41 percent compared to September 2019.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - October 2019 reached US $ 1.94 billion, down by 48.33 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Of all imports in the January-October 2019 period, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 991, 67 million or down 62.83 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 949.82 million or decreased by 12.82 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2019 was a surplus of US $ 1.21 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in September 2019 which was a surplus of US $ 1.11 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of the Province of Kalimantan Timur in the January - October 2019 period was a surplus of US $ 11.62 billion.
