October 2018, Exports Reach US $ 1.71 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 0.50 Billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2018 reached US $ 1.71 billion or increased by 16.71 percent compared to September 2018 exports. Meanwhile, compared to October 2017 it increased by 4.45 percent.

Exports of oil and gas goods in October 2018 reached US $ 0.32 billion, up 39.99 percent compared to September 2018. While non-oil and gas exports in October 2018 reached US $ 1.39 billion, up 12.41 percent compared to September 2018.

Cumulatively the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-October 2018 reached US $ 15.24 billion, up 6.07 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

Of all exports from January to October 2018, oil and gas exports reached US $ 2.73 billion, down 22.91 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 12.51 billion, up 15.54 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2018 reached US $ 0.50 billion or increased by 37.96 percent compared to September 2018 imports. Meanwhile, compared to October 2017 it increased by 81.93 percent.

Imports of oil and gas goods in October 2018 reached US $ 0.35 billion, up 46.51 percent compared to September 2018. While imports of non-oil and gas goods in October 2018 reached US $ 0.15 billion, up by 21.52 percent compared to September 2018.

Cumulatively the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to October 2018 reached US $ 3.76 billion, up by 49.48 percent compared to the same period in 2017. Of all imports from January to October 2018, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 2, 67 billion or an increase of 42.90 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 1.09 billion or an increase of 68.46 percent.

Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in October 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.22 billion, greater than the September 2018 surplus of US $ 1.11 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-October 2018 was a surplus of US $ 11.48 billion.
