September 2021, exports reached US$ 2.40 billion, down 1.84 percent compared to August 2021. Imports reached US$ 214.09 million, down 31.30 percent compared to August 2021. September 2021 trade balance surplus of US$ 2.18 billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2021 reached US$ 2.40 billion or decreased by 1.84 percent compared to exports in August 2021. Meanwhile, compared to September 2020, it increased by 180.99 percent.
The export value of oil and gas goods in September 2021 reached US$ 166.14 million, down 13.39 percent compared to August 2021. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in September 2021 reached US$ 2.23 billion, down 0.86 percent compared to August 2021.
Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January-September 2021 period reached US$ 15.63 billion, an increase of 65.15 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
Of all exports for the January - September 2021 period, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 5.11 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 94.89 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2021 reached US$ 214.09 million or decreased by 31.30 percent compared to imports in August 2021. Meanwhile, compared to September 2020, it increased by 106.40 percent.
Imports of oil and gas goods in September 2021 reached US$ 74.46 million, decreased by 47.81 percent compared to August 2021. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in September 2021 reached US$ 139.63 million, decreased by 17.35 percent compared to August. 2021.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January - September 2021 period reached US$ 2.10 billion, an increase of 52.76 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Of all imports for the January - September 2021 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 34, 78 percent while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 65.22 percent.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2021 had a surplus of US$ 2.18 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in August 2021 which had a surplus of US$ 2.13 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period January – September 2021 was a surplus of US$ 15.63 billion.
