Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2021 reached US$ 2.91 billion or an increase of 21.35 percent compared to exports in September 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to October 2020, it increased by 217.04 percent.
  • The export value of oil and gas goods in October 2021 reached US$ 251.99 million, up 51.67 percent compared to September 2021. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in October 2021 reached US$ 2.66 billion, up 19.10 percent compared to September 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – October 2021 period reached US$ 18.48 billion, an increase of 78.05 percent over the same period in 2020.
  • Of all exports for the January - October 2021 period, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 5.74 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 94.26 percent.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2021 reached US$ 208.27 million or decreased by 2.72 percent compared to imports in September 2021. Meanwhile, compared to October 2020, it decreased by 35.18 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in October 2021 reached US$ 104.77 million, an increase of 40.71 percent compared to September 2021. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in October 2021 reached US$ 103.50 million, decreased by 25.88 percent compared to the month of October 2021. September 2021.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – October 2021 period reached US$ 2.30 billion, an increase of 36.08 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Of all imports for the January – October 2021 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 43, 68 percent while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 56.32 percent.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2021 was a surplus of US$ 2.70 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in September 2021 which had a surplus of US$ 2.18 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – October 2021 period was a surplus of US$ 16.18 billion.
