Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (RoR) for star classification hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2022 was recorded at 60.25 percent, an increase of 7.51 points compared to the RoR in September 2021. When compared to the previous month, the RoR in September 2022 decreased by 0.07 points.
  • The total average length of stay of guests at star classification hotels in September 2022 reached 1.55 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.66 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.54 days.
  • During September 2022, there were no foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Timur. When compared with the previous month, the number of foreign tourists in September 2022 fell 100 percent.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in September 2022 was 168,408 people, an increase of 1.34 percent compared to August 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations fell 97.25 percent to 5 people. During January-September 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 1,509,401 people and the number of international passengers was 2,812 people, an increase of 74.16 percent and 2,063.08 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in September 2022 was recorded at 28,572 people, a decrease of 36.09 percent compared to August 2022. During January-September 2022, the number of passengers reached 318,937 people, an increase of 93.96 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
