Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (RoR) for star-class hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2022 was recorded at 64.20 percent, up 1.80 points compared to the RoR in October 2021. Compared to the previous month, the RoR in October 2022 experienced an increase of 3.95 points.
  • The average length of stay of guests at star-class hotels in October 2022 was 1.67 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 2.82 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.66 days.
  • During October 2022, 9 foreign tourists visited Kalimantan Timur. During January-October 2022, the number of foreign tourists was 335 people, an increase of 69.19 percent when compared to the same period in 2021.
  • The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in October 2022 was 178,529 people, up 6.01 percent compared to September 2022. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations rose 440.00 percent to 27 people. During January-October 2022, the number of domestic passengers was 1,687,930 people and the number of international passengers was 2,839 people, an increase of 71.80 percent and 2,083.85 percent respectively compared to the same period in 2021.
  • The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in October 2022 was recorded as 43,079 people, an increase of 50.77 percent compared to September 2022. During January-October 2022, the number of passengers reached 362,016 people, an increase of 88.50 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
