February 2023 FTT was 131.87 or an increase of 1.62 percent compared to the January 2023 FTT

Abstract

The increase in FTT was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased by 1.83 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.20 percent.
FTT per sub-sector in February 2023, namely the Food Crops Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 94.55; Horticultural Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 110.02; The Smallholder Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 176.56; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 109.51; and Fishermen and Fish Farmers Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 97.83.
In February 2023, there were three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in FTT, namely the food crops sub-sector (1.27 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (2.69 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (0.54 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the horticulture sub-sector (-0.69 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (-0.04 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in February 2023 was 132.40, an increase of 1.71 percent compared to the NTUP in January 2023 which was recorded at 130.17. There were four sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the food crops sub-sector, the smallholder plantation sub-sector, the livestock sub-sector, and the fisheries sub-sector.
