In August 2023, the ROR for star classification hotels reached 58.82 percent

Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star class hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in August 2023 was recorded at 58.82 percent, down 4.22 percentage points compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, when compared with the TPK conditions in August 2022, the TPK value in August 2023 decreased by 1.50 percentage points.
The average length of stay for star-rated hotel guests in August 2023 will reach 1.57 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests reached 2.17 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests reached 1.56 days.
During August 2023, 526 foreign tourists were recorded visiting Kalimantan Timur Province. When compared with the previous month, the number of foreign tourist visits in August 2023 increased by 0.57 percent.
The increase in foreign tourist visits mainly occurred at the SAMS Sepinggan airport gate by 0.57 percent.
