Abstract

The number of domestic air passengers departing in September 2023 was 207,937 people which decreased by 1.57 percent compared to August 2023. Meanwhile, the number of international destination passengers was 3,704 people which increased by 16.07 percent compared to the previous month.
During January-September 2023, the number of domestic air passengers was 1,929,224 people which increased by 27.81 percent compared to the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, the number of international passengers was 31,317 people, which increased significantly by 1,013.69 percent.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in September 2023 was recorded at 34,678 people which decreased by 0.91 percent compared to August 2023. During January-September 2023, the number of passengers reached 360,359 people reflecting an increase of 16.43 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
The number of goods transported in September 2023 fell 6.88 percent compared to August 2023 to 6,004.68 thousand tons. During the January-September 2023 period, the amount of goods transported reached 57,211.67 thousand tons, an increase of 0.36 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
