Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur province in October 2023 reached $2,077.21 million, marking an increase of 8.70 percent compared to the September 2023 export value.
  • In October 2023, the oil and gas exports totaled $226.07 million, showing a rise of 9.15 percent compared to September 2023. Meanwhile, non-oil and gas exports were $1,851.13 million, reflecting an increase of 8.65 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur province for January-October 2023 totaled $22,494.02 million, declining by 24.71 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur province in October 2023 reached $687.30 million, showing an increase of 47.30 percent compared to the import value in September 2023.
  • The oil and gas import in October 2023 was $575.57 million, marking a rise of 58.30 percent compared to September 2023. Meanwhile, the non-oil and gas import was $111.73 million, indicating an increase of 8.48 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur province for January-October 2023 stood at $4,646.46 million, showing an increase of 8.29 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
  • The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur province in October 2023 experienced a surplus of $1,389.90 million. The non-oil and gas trade balance showed a surplus of $1,739.40 million, while the oil and gas sector had a deficit of $349.50 million.
