Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the amount of GRDP based on current prices in the first quarter of 2012 reached Rp 110.9 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp 71.7 trillion (without oil and gas). While the GRDP at constant 2000 prices reaches Rp. 30.0 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp. 20.6 trillion (without oil and gas).
Kalimantan Timur economic growth in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the fourth quarter of 2011 (q-to-q) reached 1.69 percent, slower than the previous quarter which amounted to 1.83 percent. While growth in the first quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) was 6.40 percent, higher than the first quarter of 2011 which grew by 2.91 percent.
