Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in Kalimantan Timur in the third quarter of 2012 was 115.23, which means that the economic condition of consumers has improved compared to the previous quarter. This increase was driven by increased income and less influence of inflation on daily food consumption by consumers.
The value of ITK in Kalimantan Timur in Quarter IV-2012 is estimated at 112.41 which can be interpreted that the economic condition of consumers will be better compared to Quarter III-2012. However, the level of consumer optimism is expected to decrease 2.82 points compared to the third quarter of 2012.
